Being struck down by poverty, she was left with the option of living in a little shack with leaky roof. She recounted how well wishers would visit her after any heavy downpour to know how she faired.
“Each time it rained, I would not sleep. In the morning, those who love me would visit to ensure I made it”
The house built for her by the first lady was furnished to taste. There are uphostered seats in the parlour and a quality bed in each of the bedrooms. It also has a mordern bathroom and toilet and a spacious kitchen.
To make life much easier for the poor widow, the house was provided with a bore hole and giant standby generator.
